That is certainly a profound statement Loretta!!! And I guess it isn’t just about food either!!
I’ve been enjoying extra stuff, but not nearly as much as I did, say, five years ago. Things just don’t taste as good as they used to, or I’ve changed my taste for them. I wound up not baking even ONE chocolate thing this Christmas. For me, that is worthy of noting in my calendar booklet.

Sunday’s eats
Brunch: 2 slices of french toast w powdered sugar
3:00: banana w 2 tbs bean-co-peanut butter
5:30: left over pork roast w gravey
mock mashed pot
2 cups mixed greens, fresh veggies, bacon bits, 2 T lc poppyseed drsg
6 oz wine
Snack: cheddar popcorn, CF diet soda

Sunday’s Breakfast – Italian beef omelet.
Lunch – Deviled egg and l/c "split pea" soup.
Dinner – Roast pork, Delicata hash browns, and green beans w/bacon, onion, and mushrooms.

Sunday’s eating’s
B: one zucchini, 2 mushrooms, garlic sauteed in PAM, 1/2 cup egg subs added, and some parmasan cheese grated on top
several coffees
L: pumpernickle bread one long slice that you cut in half to make a sandwich, shaved turkey and light laughing cow cheese. 2 H/B eggs and broccoli warmed up in a bowl. coffee
Snack: some Christmas yeast cake
D: brussel sprouts and eggs and coffee
Evening snack: Some cottage cheese in a tiny container and some chocolate pieces from MIL, dark chocolate it says on the box. So it’s "health" food.
