Sugar Free Italian Ice
Any good brands you can recommend?
Dr A says you can have berries as a dessert or SF jello. I don’t like berries, and want something cold so I was thinking sf italian ice.
But NOT Rita’s. a small has 14 carbs! (plus mine only has sf pink grapefruit
So has anyone found any really good LC ones??

Hey Mom! I know thi isn’t a real answer to your question but..I love italian ice and have made treats to curb my cravings.
Sugar Free Grape Kool Aid – freeze them yourself. So yum!
Sugar Free Jello – Chill until 1/2 firm and then use the mixer to beat in heavy cream. When it looks light and fluffy put it in the freezer. I checked on mine in 45 minutes and it was good. Still a little soft but tastes like a frozen yogurt

I wanted to tell you last year I bought a snow cone maching and have been using SF Davincis (love the banana one!) on top of the shaved ice..

The kids would DIE if I bought a snow cone making machine LOL!!!
I need more davinci’s sf vanilla, I’m going to run out later. I’ll see if they have any sf cherry too
But I’m leaning towards the koolaid thingy!

I use Chrystal Light and make it in a cake pan then freeze and scrap with a fork. Taste likd Italian ice. I put in plastic containers for later. Orange is the best

The Food Network website has some great granita recipes, so I’m sure you could go through and replace the sugar with the sweetener of your choice! Easy to make, and sooooo good! I love making them with cold coffee or the dessert teas!

Go to walmart and buy one of those $15-20 ice shavers and pour crystal light over it. You can make CL 1/2 strength.

It’s chilling as we speak

This isn’t Italian ice, but it’s frozen and berry-oriented.
Put some frozen berries that have been thawed for about 45 minutes in the blender and pulse until you have lots of berry chunk, put in a bowl, and stir them up with fresh whipped cream. Very delicious and decadent!

Hmm, a snow cone making machine may not be a bad idea. My kids could eat them made with Davinci’s SF syrups too.
