Anyone travel in a car for work every day?

I travel through New England for work. Typically, I’m home every night, but some nights I have to stay in hotels. Being on this diet makes it challenging to eat during the day.

I used to just pop in and out of the fast food drive thru’s getting salads and grilled chicken. That gets boring really fast when you travel every single day. I used to bring cold tuna, egg or chicken salad with me in the car but now that its getting warmer, it sorta turns me off to keep it in the car…even in a cooler…I guess its the mayo that turns me off

I typically am staying away from the fast food salads cause now Im bored with them. I eat at a Craker Barrell from time to time seeing that they have low carb menus but most times, I cant stop for that long to eat, and, I prefer to bring stuff with me.

Any ideas? See, the trick here is I cant bring anything hot. I have a cooler. Im getting bored with salads and meat salads such as tuna egg and chicken.

Palmnut Soup Anyone?

Hello, I am desperately looking for the carb count of palmnut fruit(pulp). My husband is Ghanaian and he made it last night and it was delicious! but I couldnt enjoy it because I didnt know if I was blowing my diet that I just started. The pulp came in a can that was a product of ghana and it had no nutrional label on it. Please help! I spent hours looking it upon the net.

I have been doing this for 3 weeks now and am having a hard time with scheduling meals and workouts. I want to eat my carbs on either side of my workout and usually have apple or some kind of fruit on one side and oatmeal on the other or a whole grain pita with meat etc. Anyway, My workout is generally 1-1 1/2 hours, and if I eat too close before the workout I get side aches with running (usually do that first) but if I wait too long to work out after I eat then I am running into my next meal! How did you get the scheduling thing figured out.

I typically get up at 4am to work then wait until about 6:30-7 to eat my first meal and I am wondering if I should be eating something right away when I get up? This 5-6 meals a day thing is seriously freaking me out! The nutritionist that I am working with keeps telling me I am being too anal and I know that is a tendancy of mine, to go overboard, but I also am a realist and realize that something like this needs to be planned. Planning for 5 meals a day is a real doozy too! Do you think that yogurt with a scoop of protein powder (plain yogurt) is a good "meal"?

Anyone tried "Afterburn"?

I’ve been trying to find out if Alwyn Cosgrove’s "Afterburn" exercise plan is any good. It sounds really great, but most of the info I’ve found on the site itself which I don’t trust much. Anyone tried this?

It sounds really good but it’s $60 so I’m a bit hesitant to get it off the hype alone. If anyone has tried this and know whether it’s any good or not I’d love to hear about it! I need a great exercise plan if I’m going to be at goal by my birthday!!

I took my husband to eat there today. They have the most delicous dinner rolls! He had ribs and steak, baked potato, salad and 4 rolls. I had soup and a salad. I really wanted one of those rolls, but the diet won! I felt pretty darn good leaving the resturant. I was full, but not stuffed like I used to be.

Anyone know how many carbs in 6oz Black Coffee?
