When I am on induction, I get in a foul mood. I mean, like in a rage of anger foul mood. It’s usually after the 1st week. Anyone else?
…to better manage your exercise routine?
Hey whats up. I have been doing the ketogenic cycling "diet" for 6 years….you don’t go on a diet for 6 years…you have a diet. I think it is be all end all. I do it easily and naturally…why? Because ketogenic cycling is the true way a mammal should eat….plain and simple. I am 31, I look better than I did when I was 17, I’m ripped and I don’t weight train like crazy. You sustain muscle when the metabolism is in its natural state (using fat primarily for energy in the moment, periodical carb loading 2 days a week..last meal of the day or last 2 meals of the day high carb 2 days a week spaced out, carb loading to replace depleted muscle glycegen stores that have been used while 1) working 2) working out 3) living, walking, sexin, whatever.) I love carb loading and go really overboard on carbs when carb loading, important to keep fat very low while loading though. I always stay lean and ripped no matter how extreme the carb loads are, and it seems to fit in well with life. I feel in total control of my body and never worry about food. I live in harmony with the world in that aspect of life, it really has changed my life. I never feel sleepy or drowsy during the day, always pretty level headed about things, I handle stress better. Its all about insulin levels and keeping that storing hormone at bay most of the time, until its time for those awesome carb loads. But even when i’m not carb loading I love to eat meat, cheese, eggs, fruits and veggies. of course not too much protein in one sitting because protein as most of us know can raise insulin levels as well, they say over 50 grams of protein in one sitting can raise insulin levels. Anyway I just wanted to say that its an easy way of life for me and I havent aged much at all and look really young, remember when you eat this way aging and wasting are stopped, i’m telling you its amazing. If you don’t do it, do it. I can get into a lot more and get into every aspect as to why…..just do it.
Hi There,
I am hoping and praying to find someone that would like to befriend me. I am a 40 yr old Christian lady and a single parent to four teens. I have severe health issues that have rendered me needing many medications. It appears that those medications are stopping any ketosis as well. I am at a loss as to how to let go of the medicines as I cannot afford that many supplements, we live on 346 per month because I cannot work. I am hoping a few of you have the same diseases I do and have ventured into weaning off your meds and onto natural methods. Please I seek advice here I am desperate even if I cannot afford the supplements I can try and I still want to know success any of you have had?!
I have fibromyalgia for which I take prozac and flexeril, IBS, Small Vessel Disease which is plaquing in the brain and cardio vascular issues, Panic and anxiety disorder I take Klonopin for this, Psoriasis all over my entire body, I use Clobetasol for my head daily it is a steriod type topical treatment, Psoratic Athristis for which I take Enbrel shots twice weekly, Ulcers and I take Protonix for this. There are other drugs as well.
I have been on this WOE several times before I loved it…..now it has been five days and I am not going anywhere…..no ketones.
Would love to hear from someone? I am a positive person and I love to laugh and I also run a Yahoo Christian single parents group.
Hugs and Blessings, Dove
Mine seems to be coming here kind of early.
