pork rinds and ranch dressing . . . oh my!
Friday, March 20th, 2009I finally found pork rinds — I swear, nobody sells them near me! I got Utz BBQ flavor, and dipped them into some ranch dressing. Oh my — crunchy, salty, ranchy — it was a little bit a cruchified heaven! And, no funky/piggy flavor, that I got the last time I tried a pork rind!
The bad news is that there’s no stop signal on these babies. Like, you can only eat SO MUCH steak, before you just have to stop. Here, it’s salty air — I could have eaten a whole bag. In fact, I think I ate half a bag, and way too much ranch, before I locked it away!
The good news is that I didn’t go off plan. The bad news is that I may never pee again! I can’t imagine how much sodium was in there — I’ve been drinking water for HOURS now, and haven’t had to go. 
Tomorrow’s weigh-in should be . . . interesting!
