Whoever invented LC "French Toast" is a genius!

My son came home with a stomach bug, and of course I caught a touch of it — not really bad, but I was feeling nauseous all yesterday afternoon.

The best, BEST thing to soothe a funny tummy — LC French Toast! If you haven’t had it, it’s eggs scrambled with cinnamon, vanilla, Splenda, and nutmeg — topped with butter and SF maple syrup.

Not too heavy, sweet and soothing, it was perfect sickie food.

Hi!

When I read that you ate cheesecake for breakfast, I knew I wanted to as well . I’m so hooked on the Atkins bars for morning because A) they’re quick and B) they’re sweet. But they are soooo expensive, and they encourage me to eat only them. Before LC, I also used to love a piece of cake in the morning as well – never at night, strangely enough!

I just made the No-Bake Lemon Cheesecake from the link in your post and it is fabulous! I can’t wait until tomorrow morning to have a piece. As I could only get powdered Splenda, I used 1 1/4 cup because my tastes aren’t that sweet to justify the extra carbs. This didn’t affect it at all, still tasted absolutely gorgeous. You have definitely inspired me to try other LC desserts instead of bars and to buy liquid Splenda!

My mom’s a genius!

No matter how many people teach me different ways to cook a perfect hard-bolied egg that peels easily, it never works for me and I end up throwing out half the egg with the shell. So my mom told me not to bother, just split the whole egg in half, take out the yolk, and scoop out all the white with a plastic spoon. I get every last drop of egg out of the shell without sticking my fingers on sharp pieces of eggshell and without getting little pieces of shell mixed into the food.
