I started Feb 1st and lost 5 lbs in 2 days(water weight) but I have only lost 0-2 lbs since and I haven’t cheated at all!!!! Last time I lost 45 lbs in 3 1/2 months following the same diet I am doing now…no real changes whatsoever. I have been about 30 carbs or less the whole time.
Let me sum up most of my habits….
*I don’t eat any of the atkins bars etc. I don’t eat any LC desserts at all.
*I eat twice a day with no snacks-I have always did it this way….I’m not going to eat if I’m not hungry.
*I drink water only….no diet sodas, juice etc.
*I drink 2-3 cups coffee with Splenda or Davinci and HC
*The closest thing to cheating is I use too much ranch dressing the times I use it(not daily)
*I don’t go overboard on the cheese
I dont record my menus but here are some of my regular things:
*omelets(w/cheese, sausage,onion)
*steak/salad
*chicken salad w/olives and onions
*burgers(sometimes w/mushrooms)
All basically LC-friendly stuff! Here are some of my bad habits…..
*salt(don’t ask)
*I eat my last meal late at night usually
*heavy on the ranch or mayo
*coffee? (I don’t know if 3 cups is too much)
But….Like I said I had the same eating habits last time as well! So whats happening? Is it because I have less weight to lose(15-20)? The times I eat? I have no clue…like I said I’m sticking to the same game plan. That’s why I question as to whether this diet loses it’s effectiveness after awhile….
I’m seriously to the point of giving up. Every day I compare the choices of being chubby vs. being forced to eat stuff I don’t even like just to stay at the same weight. If anyone want’s to offer some advice or encouragement feel free to do so….I haven’t made the elephant-choking size bowl of popcorn yet………
