You bought/are going to buy yourself after you reach goal. Make a whole darn list if you have to.

1. [insert B word here]- I’m a card carrying member of the itty bitty committee.
2. Whole New Wardrobe
3. High Heels

The most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard…grrr

This morning on the news they were talking about health and diet. So they started talking about eggs and I thought they were going to say that eggs were good for you. NO absolutely not! They said that consuming more than 6 eggs a week increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by like 70%. This is absolutely preposterous!

Here’s a link here for the story: Egg intake linked to diabetes risk | Science & Health | Reuters

They say "In animal studies, high-fat diets have been shown to raise levels of blood sugar and the sugar-regulating hormone insulin — suggesting a way that a cholesterol-heavy diet might promote diabetes."

What is that I mean that is just outrageous…Wow just wow…People really need to wake up…

Anyone eat the same thing every day?

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

I’m tempted to try a 2 week induction (again) with a set menu. The same meals every day. I know I’ll be bored, but I also know that I’ll be on track and everything is approved for induction.

Here’s my plan:

Breakfast
2 eggs (12g protein/2g carb/140 cal)
2 pcs bacon (6g protein/0g carb/100cal)
Tea with splenda (0g protein/0g carb/0cal)

Snack
Salmon pouch (10g protein/ 0g carb/60 cal)
Mayonnaise (2T) (0 protein/ 0g carb/180 cal)
Lettuce leaves(4) (1g protein/ 1g carb/ 10 cal)

Lunch
4 oz chicken breast (22g protein/0 carb/ 120 cal)
Green beans (1c) w/1T butter (1g protein/ 7g carb/ 150 cal)

Snack
Egg salad- 2 egg & mayo (2 T)(12g protein/2g carb/320cal)
Shredded cheese (1/4 cup) (7g protein/0g carb/110)

Dinner
4 oz ground beef (26g protein/ 0 carb/ 170 cal)
Coleslaw (1 1/2 cup) (1g protein/ 5g carb/ 25 cal)
spices and chili garlic paste

Totals 98g proteins/17g carbs/1385 calories

It’s 200 calories below my BMR, but I can fix that with CO in my tea or something… 200 calories go fast!

Anyone ever try to eat the same things every day? How’s the menu look for well-roundedness? I tried to get everything in there!

All comments are appreciated! TIA!
