Tropical Traditions Gold Lable CO

Has anyone tried this and how different is it from Nutiva CO? I usually use Nutiva, but I saw TT has buy 1 get 2 free so I thought I’d give it a try. Right now , I am using Rexall Co from WALMART because I ran out of my Nutiva!

So what cha think…………..Gold Lable gets thumbs up? Hope I didn’t make a mistake!

this is the one I eat. I like it the best (better than nutiva and spectrum). I always get the gold label virgin co from them and their coconut cream concentrate.

I have this as well. It is by far the best I have tried. When I got it, the taste reminded me of butter and I haven’t gagged once when eating it by the spoon. I have tried all the brands I have seen recommended here like Nutiva and even the Rexall. I have always bought from TT, but wanted to see what all the hoopla was about with Nutiva. While I find those others OK and fine to use, I love and buy from TT because they always run specials AND I can buy my coconut oil by the gallon. Thus I buy less often. I say go for it!!

I too started out using Trop Trad and tried others afterwards. I went back to TT. There is something about the texture and taste I just don’t find in other brands. Their website has some pretty good sales too. >^.,.^<

How is TT different went compared to Nutiva? The first brand I ever tried was NOW, and I have to say it was disgusting. I couldn’t eat it. It had a strong chemical taste. So turned me off to coconut oil that it was years before I ever tried it again. And that was the Nutiva brand. I was so thrilled with it, I’ve never been tempted to try another brand, least I have another experience like the one I had with NOW. But now you guys have me wanting to give TT a try. Could you describe what it is you like about it over Nutiva?

I have never tried nutiva, but I have tried a bunch of brands of coconut oil I didn’t like, and I can tell you why I like TT coconut oil..
first off its fair trade, if you read the story on tt web site about how they make the gold label coconut oil its nice..
another reason I like the TT coconut oil is cause they have an ebay store, and you can get the oil for CHEAP! I get my gallons on there for like 45$.. its a steal for coconut oil! (esp considering how much I use it)

I like it alot cause of the taste.. its such a clean coconut taste, no aftertaste at all.. it has a nice aroma of coconut, and a nice flavor.. you can eat it off the spoon with out gagging..

Yeh, that’s how I feel about Nutiva. But at least now I do feel confident enough to give TT a try. I’m all for fair trade products, and if I can save money at the same time, even better.

to me it has a better mouth feel/texture. I always gagged on co when i tried other brands straight, but this way I can swallow a tablespoon full and then oil pull for 20 mins with another tablespoon of it without any problems.

I just ordered my first TT this past week. I’m very excited to get it. I didn’t know about the ebay store.
