Vacation help!!!!

My husband I are going on a wonderful vacation-that is the good news! Anyway, we are going to be on a sail boat with 4 other folks that do not eat LC and we will be cooking most of our meals on the boat. I did pick up a package of jerkey to take but not quite sure how to handle breakfast when everyone else is eating oatmeal. Any suggestions???????????????

    4 days….
I’m sure their will be a cooler involved right?
Beef Jerky is a good start, maybe some boiled eggs, don’t peal them til your ready for them of course.
Baggie of lettuce greens and dressing
Man this is hard, what kind of things are on the sail boat? as in is there ability to heat things up? if so you can pre-make some meals.
Also pack a few atkins bars if you like them, they have a breakfast variety..
    Ummm….Geez!
If your gonna park and grill at all, the choices are limitless, but being on the boat… man, thats tough!

surely there is a stove or grill so you could make eggs and sausage/bacon… easy breezy!

I have a list of travel foods I keep in my computer for all our vacations and road trips..

maybe it can give you some ideas:

    LC Travel Foods:

    Pork rinds
    Celery
    Mac nuts
    Jerkey & slimjims
    Vienna sausage cans
    EAS Shakes
    Atkins Bars
    Diet sodas
    WATER
    Cooked bacon
Containers of whipped cream cheese w/ mixed in sunflower seeds & a spoon

You said "cooking" on the boat? That would include a stove? Then why wouldn’t you have bacon and eggs? I have a friend who has a sailboat and he could live on it…he has a small but fully functional kitchen.

If it’s just because you don’t want to be different, well, face it, you ARE different. As long as you aren’t asking your vacation-mates to give up something for you, I guess I don’t see the problem.

Make oopsie rolls ahead of time, seal them in a ziplock or container with lid. Keep them in the cooler and then if you are served anything on a bun or on bread – you can replace the HC bread/rolls/buns with oopsies.
