If you’re truly following Atkins’ plan, focus on your carb count more than anything else, and don’t let your fat intake drop because you replaced it all with protein.
What I mean is, let’s say that you’re aiming for 20 carbs per day, max. Once you hit that 20 carbs, if you look over and see that your fat intake was only 60%, don’t feel like you "must" eat something else to get to 65%. If you see that your fat intake is 70% and you’ve eaten only 15 carbs and you’re truly not hungry, don’t seek out a few extra carbs to make the percentages match.
Use those only as rough guidelines, and focus your attention on the carbs. If you follow the plan, limit the carbs and serving sizes according to Atkins’ instructions, the percentages will take care of themselves.
